North Georgia Photography Experience presents fine art photography exhibitions, lectures and interactive family events that showcase the area’s vibrant photographic art.

Collectors, visitors to the area and families have opportunities to see new works, learn more about photography as a fine art, and actively participate in photo shoots and other events.

Photographers have opportunities to show their works, meet collectors and grow professionally by sharing and networking with other photographers.

Galleries and art organizations have opportunities to expose their collectors and visitors to new works via invitational, juried or open photography exhibitions.

September and October 2009 brought the successful presentation of the Second Annual North Georgia Photography Experience featuring sixteen photography events in five north Georgia cities - Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Gainesville, Jasper and Sautee Nacoochee.

While planning is now underway for the third series of photography events in the fall of 2010, the NGPE website already lists fine art photography events taking place now in the winter of 2010.
